Manufacturing is cyclical. Day and night produce different amounts of raw material for our fashionable age and through their production define that impact in the shape and form of a new ecological era. This era is referred to as the Anthropocene. We want you to create a vision of a city in this new geological era.
In the context of a city, fashion is oil and gas, fuel to the engine powering our every waking moment and channeling things it doesn’t provide. The weight and stability of any urban experience depends on the subtle whims of changing seasons and quarterly flashes of colour.
Make an editorial feature inspired by the city, both day and night, documenting changes in it’s material and form.
