These were developed out of a sensitivity that physical spaces be it in a house or within a space within a house evoke, describing kinds of cerebral panic, the quintessential reaction of a person moving from place to place in quick succession.
The domestic environment is obvious and immediate but when rented and moved into contains overtones of passing through and temporality; the latency of past inhabitants intermingled with flashes of the familiar – actual events remembered or imported through retold stories – each of these pieces tap into a sense of the uncanny, the unfamiliar and the down right irritating.
